The Backstreet Surveillance Trailers are engineered for optimal performance. After a complete drain, the system will power up with just 2 hours of sun and reach a full recharge in 8 hours of sunlight. The system also charges using ambient light, even during cloudy or stormy weather. With no ambient charging, the trailers will operate for 7 days on battery backup alone; with some ambient light, typical operation extends to about 10 days. Once the battery is depleted, the trailer will go offline until it receives 2 hours of sun, at which point it will power back up automatically.
